Pradnyachakshu Niwasi Andha Vidyalaya, Beed, managed by the Beed Jilha Andh Seva Sangh, was established on 16 June 1992. It is the only organization dedicated to the welfare of the visually impaired in the Beed district. The institute is led by President Hon. Dr. Dilip Prabhakarrao Deshmukh and Acting Principal Mr. Dilip Kulkarni For over 30 years, the institute has done exemplary work in the field of blind welfare. Our mission is to provide education, vocational training, and business skills to visually impaired individuals in the district. The Beed Jilha Andh Seva Sangh undertakes the monumental task of identifying blind students in rural areas, integrating them into the mainstream education system, providing Braille literacy, and ensuring their rehabilitation and independence. We have organized numerous eye camps, offering free eye examinations, distributing goggles and white canes, and providing free residential education with food and accommodation. The school, started in 1992 for blind boys and girls, is government-aided and currently has approval for 30 students.
To create global citizens who are intellectually competent, morally upright, and socially committed.
To survey rural areas, wadis, and tandas to identify visually impaired children and bring them into the stream of education. We aim to provide rehabilitation, vocational training, and employment opportunities to ensure every student stands on their own feet.
